“Exploring Environmental Law and Policy in Malaysia: A Comparative Perspective“

THE PROGRAM
In an effort to strengthen the academic cooperation among Universitas Brawijaya (UB) and Universitas Teknologi MARA (UiTM), we are pleased to announce the program of Environmental Literacy 2023 that will take place at the Faculty of Law UiTM, with the theme “Exploring Environmental Law and Policy in Malaysia: A Comparative Perspective”
The selected 10 (ten) students who meet the specified qualifications from Faculty of Law UB will attend some activities in Malaysia for 3-4 days, including:
- Exploring Environmental Policy at Kuala Lumpur,
- Attending Lectures and Student Meetings at UiTM, and
- Doing Community Services at Pantai Cunang in Selangor.
BENEFITS
All selected 10 (ten) students will receive funding from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya for the following expenses:
• Round-trip airline ticket
• Transportation to Airport
• Accommodation and living allowance in Malaysia
Please note that all selected students must committed to join and participate on a predetermined set of activities, including before, during, and after this Environmental Literacy Program.
REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY
The applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Law students of Undergraduate programs of the years 2019 until 2022;
- Minimum GPA of 3.30 (proven by a legalized transcript, submit transcript request here (pilih transkrip sementara));
- Provide a motivational letter;
- Proof of proficiency in English as demonstrated by a language certificate such as TOEFL with a score of 500 or another equivalent English test. Students who do not yet have an English language certificate can show proof of proficiency in English by showing a certificate of participation in international activities that involve the student’s active role;
- Pass the selection and interview process;
- Submit the scanned of the Surat Perjanjian (Download here), the latest academic transcript, motivational letter and the proof of English proficiency no later than 2 May 2023 to the following link https://s.ub.ac.id/environmentalliteracyfhub.
