Beban dan Masa Pekuliahan
Beban studi adalah 40 (empat puluh) sks terdiri atas:
- 3 (tiga) sks mata kuliah Wajib Universitas;
- 17 (tujuh belas) sks mata kuliah Wajib Program Studi;
- 4 (empat) sks mata kuliah Wajib Minat/ Konsentrasi.
- 4 (empat) sks mata kuliah Pilihan Minat/ Konsentrasi.
- 12 (dua belas) sks penelitian dan penyusunan
Kegiatan perkuliahan dilaksanakan dalam waktu 3 (tiga) semester. Rancangan penelitian tesis dapat diajukan pada semester 2 (dua) yang dilanjutkan dengan penelitian pada semester 3 (tiga ) dan /atau 4 (empat).
Lama studi Program Magister Ilmu Hukum minimal 2 tahun (empat semester), dan maksimal 4 tahun (delapan semester).
Sit-In Mahasiswa
Sit In mahasiswa adalah ikut sertanya mahasiswa program studi Magister Ilmu Hukum dalam perkuliahan Program Studi Sarjana Ilmu Hukum di. Sit In dilakukan atas anjuran dosen MIH (karena mata kuliah yang diampu adalah mata kuliah lanjutan) atau karena keinginan mahasiswa mengembangkan keilmuan terkait dengan penulisan tesis. Sit In Mahasiswa harus mendapat izin tertulis Ketua Program Studi dan dosen pengampu mata kuliah pada Program Studi Sarjana Ilmu Hukum.
Mahasiswa Program Magister Ilmu Hukum dapat mengajukan Sit In Mahasiswa sebanyak-banyaknya 1 (satu) mata kuliah dalam satu semester.
Kehadiran Mengikuti Perkuliahan
- Persentase Kehadiran
Kehadiran mahasiswa minimal 80% (delapan puluh perseratus) dari jumlah tatap muka di tiap mata kuliah. Prosentase di bawah 80% dinyatakan tidak dapat mengikuti UAS. Ketentuan tidak dapat mengikuti UAS apabila sebagian besar alasan dikarenakan kealpaan (tanpa ijin/dicoret presensinya). Ketentuan ijin hanya diperbolehkan manakala diijinkan oleh dosen pengampu mata kuliah. Jika jumlah tatap muka perkuliahan kurang dari 50% (lima puluh perseratus) dari jumlah tatap muka yang seharusnya, seluruh mahasiswa yang memrogram mata kuliah dimaksud dinyatakan dapat mengikuti UAS. - Penilaian Hasil Belajar
Penilaian hasil belajar merupakan domain dosen pengampu mata kuliah dengan pertimbangan jumlah tatap muka, keaktifan dan pemahaman terhadap teori. Penilaian hasil belajar berupa penugasan, Ujian Tengah Semester dan Ujian Akhir Semester yang dapat dilakukan secara tertulis dan atau lisan.
Evaluasi Studi Mahasiswa
KPS MIH dibantu oleh Sekretariat MIH setiap tahun melakukan evaluasi studi mahasiswa. Adapun ketentuan evaluasi studi mahasiswa adalah sebagai berikut:
- Evaluasi Studi mahasiswa merupakan status akademik bagi mahasiswa yang;
a. tidak memenuhi persyaratan sebagai mahasiswa aktif; dan atau
b. tidak memenuhi persyaratan melanjutkan studi - Evaluasi Studi Mahasiswa dapat meloloskan mahasiswa dengan persyaratan tertentu untuk perbaikan studi atau memberikan status gagal studi/Drop Out.
- Gagal Studi/DropOut merupakan status mahasiswa yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan evaluasi keberhasilan studi, tidak terdaftar karena tidak melakukan registrasi lebih dari 2 (dua) semester kumulatif/berturut-turut, dan melanggar Peraturan dan Etika di Lingkungan UniversitasBrawijaya. Mahasiswa gagal studi diusulkan oleh pimpinan Fakultas/Program kepada Rektor untuk selanjutnya diterbitkan Surat Keputusan Rektor terkait Gagal Studi.
- Mahasiswa dinyatakan tidak memenuhi evaluasi keberhasilan studi jika;
a. IPK < 3,0 pada setiap semester (sesuai dengan KRS dan KHS mahasiswa), atau
b. Tidak lulus ujian proposal tesis, atau
c. Tidak lulus ujian tesis, atau
d. Masa studinya habis dan belum dapat menyelesaikan beban studi sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku. - Di semester 1 mahasiswa akan diberikan peringatan jika IPK di bawah 3,0. Mahasiswa yang pada akhir semester kedua belum dapat mencapai IPK 3,0, maka mahasiswa yang bersangkutan dinyatakan gagal dan tidak diperkenankan melanjutkan studinya.
- Mata kuliah yang memperoleh nilai di bawah A dapat diulang pada semester selanjutnya.
- Mahasiswa dapat mengajukan pengunduran diri. Berikut prosedur pengunduran diri:
a. ditujukan kepada Rektor dan dilakukan secara online melalui SIAM, dengan mengunggah surat permohonan dengan diketahui orangtua/wali.
b. Validasi permohonan oleh fakultas/program. Hasil validasi tersebut diunggah mahasiswa melalui SIAM.
c. Surat keterangan mengundurkan diri oleh Rektor asli dapat diambil langsung oleh yang bersangkutan di Universitas dengan menyerahkan KTM
d. Pengunduran diri tidak bisa dibatalkan.
Tesis
Tesis adalah karya tulis akademik yang dibuat berdasarkan hasil penelitian mandiri mahasiswa Program Magister di bawah pengawasan dan bimbingan dosen pembimbing. Tesis merupakan tugas akhir yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa program magister di UB. Tesis mempunyai besaran beban studi 12 sks. Substansi Tesis bersifat pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi atau seni sesuai bidang keilmuan dan harus sesuai dengan lingkup bidang keilmuan dalam program studi tempat mahasiswa terdaftar.
Penulisan Tesis dibagi dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu
- Penentuan Dosen Pembimbing
- Pengajuan Proposal
- Ujian Proposal
- Seminar Hasil Penelitian
- Ujian Akhir Tesis
Perkecualian Ujian Akhir
Mahasiswa MIH yang memiliki prestasi dalam publikasi internasional sebagaimana ditetapkan Rektor, dapat diusulkan oleh Majelis Dosen Penguji kepada Dekan agar mahasiswa dinyatakan memperoleh nilai Tesis A tanpa ujian akhir. Prestasi yang dimaksud yaitu:
- paling sedikit 2 (dua) artikel ilmiah yang telah diterbitkan atau diterima untuk diterbitkan dalam Jurnal Ilmiah paling rendah terakreditasi Sinta 2;
- paling sedikit satu artikel yang telah diterbitkan atau diterima untuk diterbitkan dalam proceeding dan dinyatakan layak oleh tim penilai; atau paling sedikit satu artikel yang telah diterbitkan atau diterima untuk diterbitkan dalam jurnal internasional terindeks Scopus atau Web of Science Core Collection (Thomson Reuter) dan dinyatakan layak oleh tim penilai.
- Rata-rata nilai seluruh tahap Tesis adalah
