“Exploring Environmental Law and Policy in Malaysia: A Comparative Approach“
Universitas Teknologi MARA – Universitas Brawijaya 28 April – 1 May 2024*

10 (ten) selected students will attend some activities in Malaysia for 3-4 days, including:
- Exploring Environmental Policy at Kuala Lumpur,
- Attending Lectures and Student Meetings at UiTM, and
- Doing Community Services at Pantai Cunang in Selangor.
Please note that all selected students must be committed to joining and participating in a predetermined set of activities, including before, during, and after this program.
All selected 10 (ten) students will receive funding from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, for the following expenses:
- Round-trip airline ticket
- Transportation to Airport
- Accommodation
- Meal allowance
*All selected students must pay their own health insurance and passport expenses.
- Law students of Undergraduate program of the years 2020 until 2022;
- Minimum GPA of 3.30 (proven by a KHS dan KRS);
- Provide a 2 page of CV;
- Provide a motivational letter;
- Proof of proficiency in English as demonstrated by a language certificate such as TOEFL with a score of 500 or another equivalent English test. Students who do not yet have an English language certificate can show proof of proficiency in English by showing a certificate of participation in international activities that involve the student’s active role;
- Fill in the scanned of the Surat Perjanjian; and
- Pass the selection and interview process.

advantages from these activities, including:
- Wonderful experience of gaining new knowledge in global and regional affairs.
- Get the chance to exchange knowledge, experience, and culture.
- Create more networking with people from other countries.

“Taking Perspectives: Understanding Others and Social Cohesion in Times of Increasing Polarization“ Universitas Brawijaya – Universitas Negeri Jakarta – Universität Leipzig, Germany
- First Part at Leipzig: 10 – 20 June 2024*
- Second Part at Jakarta: 9 – 12 September 2024*
- Third Part at Malang: 12 – 18 September 2024*

4 (four) selected students from each university will join the lectures, excursions and workshops. The program will begin in Leipzig, Germany and continue in Indonesia (Jakarta and Malang) three months afterwards. At the end of the program, the students are expected to complete a simulation game in which a public hearing on a social conflict is re-enacted with a thematic focus on what they have learned during the whole program in Indonesia and Germany.
Activities include:
- Presentation workshops and cultural activities in Leipzig, Jakarta and Malang.
- All activities will include students from Germany and Indonesia. Indonesian students travel to Germany, and German students travel to Indonesia.
All 4 (Four) students will be selected and receive funding from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya and Leipzig University for the following expenses:
- Round-trip airline ticket
- Transportation to Airport
- Accommodation and living allowance in Germany and Jakarta
Please note that all selected students must pay their own expenses regarding health insurance, passport and visa application fees.
- Law students of Undergraduate program of the years 2020 until 2022;
- Prohibited from graduating and taking the comprehensive/final exam until the end of the Program in September 2024 (please complete and sign “Surat Perjanjian”;
- Minimum GPA of 3.30 (proven by a legalized transcript; submit transcript request here);
- Provide a 2 page of CV;
- Provide a motivational letter;
- At least two years old TOEFL score of 500, issued by an institution recognized by the Universitas Brawijaya;
- Provide a 5-page essay about “Religion and Pancasila in Indonesia” (that will be presented in Leipzig if selected); and
- Pass the selection and interview process.
“Sharing is Caring: Advance Legal Services for Indonesian Diaspora in South Korea” Universitas Brawijaya –Korea Muslim Federation 8-11 July 2024* *tentative schedule
The 2 (two) selected students will participate in a 2 (two) day activity in South Korea to provide workshops and legal consultation to increase legal understanding for the Indonesian Diaspora and Korean families. This is a pro bono community service activity in the form of ongoing advocacy.
