Universitas Brawijaya (UB) confirmed two Professors at once on Wednesday (27/9/2017) in Widyaloka Building UB. Inauguration of both increase the number of active Professors in Universitas Brawijaya. The two Professors are Prof. Dr. Abdul Rachmad Budiono, S.H., M.H, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Lilik Eka Radiati, M.S.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Rachmad Budiono, S.H., M.H., who came from the Faculty of Law and Prof. Dr. Ir. Lilik Eka Radiati, M.S. who came from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Rachmad Budiono, S.H., M.H. (57 years old), a man born in Madiun 1959, graduated with a Bachelor degree in Law Science, Universitas Brawijaya (1984), Magister of Law, University of Indonesia (1991), and Doctor of Law Faculty of Airlangga University (2007), permanent lecturer of PNS Faculty of Law, Brawijaya since 1986, appointed as professor in the field of Labor Law and Labor (2017) at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya with the rank of the main coach of youth class IV / a, served as Secretary of Civil Law Department (1996-1999), Head of Master Program Kenotariatan (2009-2012), Secretary of Doctoral Program of Law Science, Law Faculty, Brawijaya University (2015), and Head of Doctoral Program of Law Science, Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (2015-present).
The new scientific oration of the four new Professors in UB is assessed by Prof. Rector. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Bisri, M.S. as a monumental work that can be a reference for other academics to produce quality scientific work. In addition, the work can also be a reference for decision makers to establish the relevant policy.
Furthermore, the Rector awaits further work to strengthen the existence of his expertise and improve the academic performance of UB. According to him it has become commonplace that the credibility of an expert is determined by his academic work.
On that occasion, the two professors delivered speeches in his professors’ inaugural address in turn. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rachmad Budiono, S.H., M.H. with the title “Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement in Indonesia“, followed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Lilik Eka Radiati, M.S. with the title “Good Fresh Milk Handling Practices for Improving Microbiological Quality in National Standards“.
