Pertor 76/2020 concerning MLSP Curriculum has formulated The PLO of MLSP. MLSP students can be classified into 2, namely those who are already working in the field of law and fresh graduate students of undergraduate programs who have not worked. Students who have worked in the field of law generally work as judges, prosecutors, police, lawyers, politicians, and state civil servants. MLSP is intended to increase their professional to develop or discover law. Fresh graduate students from the undergraduate program when they graduate from MLSP will also work and carry out the legal profession. By pursuing to the MLSP, students are designated to enhanced their ability to develop as well as discover legal sciences and law. To fulfill this, the graduate profile or PLO of MLSP is determined as follows:

1. Have the ability to form and develop law through the formation of legislation and legal discovery by using a theoretical approach and legal reasoning.
2. Have the ability to solve legal problems with an inter and multidisciplinary approach.
3. Have the ability to research and develop legal science with an inter and multidisciplinary approach, which is beneficial to the community and gains national and international recognition.
4. Have the ability to communicate well, uphold religious, moral, and ethical values.

MLSP's vision serves as a basis consideration in formulating PLO. the said PLO refers to the capability of students in using theoretical aspect in solving existing legal problems. Such PLO also formulated based on the evaluation and recommendations of stakeholders and takes into account NHES and IQF. According to IQF, the level qualification of master degree sits on level 8, which required students to be able to contribute in the development of the knowledge in conceptual framework and also requires student to be able to offer problem solving to community as well as conducting research.

In accordance with NHES regulations, the ILO of MLSP consist of 10 items attitudes, 4 items knowledge, 8 items general skills and 3 items special skills. Specific skills are aspects that can represent the entirety of the ILO so that the ILO MLSP can be summarized as follows:

1. Able to formulate the concept of legal problems solving through the development of legal science and positive law with a theoretical and legal reasoning approach.
2. Able to formulate ideas and solve legal problems argumentatively and creatively in the field of legal science and/or positive law.
3. Able to conduct legal research with an inter or multi-disciplinary approach, independently or collaboratively, so as to produce research that is part of the research map in the field of legal studies.

The curriculum of the Master of Law Study Program was arranged based on Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education; Government Regulation Number 4 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Higher Education and Management of Higher Education; Presidential Regulation Number 8 of 2012 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework; Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 73 of 2013 concerning the Implementation of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework on the Higher Education Sector; Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 4 of 2016 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of University of Brawijaya as amended by Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 34 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 4 of 2016 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of University of Brawijaya; Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 58 of 2018 concerning the Statute of University of Brawijaya; Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards; Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 7 of 2020 concerning the Establishment, Change, Dissolution of PTN, and the Establishment, Amendment, Revocation of ITS Permits including provisions on Distance Education; Regulation of the University of Brawijaya Number 1 of 2017 concerning Quality Standards; Regulation of the Rector of University of Brawijaya Number 13 of 2019 concerning Course Codes; Regulation of the Rector of  University of Brawijaya Number 25 of 2020 concerning Organizational Structure and Work Procedures; Regulation of the Rector of University of Brawijaya Number 34 of 2020 concerning the Curriculum of the Independent Study Program-Independent Campus. The study load of the Master of Law Study Program is 40 credits.
