Thursday, December 7, 2017. Activities that are packaged in the form of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) is themed “Problems in Implementation of Student Exchange Brawijaya University”. This activity is organized by the Office of International Affairs or better known as International Office (IO) Brawijaya University. Attended representatives from each Center of Information and Communication System (PSIK) of each Faculty.
With the FGD system the issues are related to the implementation of the Student Exchange programs conducted by Brawijaya University, whether conducted directly by the OI or Student Exchange activities that are disseminated by the faculty. By dividing this FGD in various sessions then each issue is then discussed in a panel that comprehensively conducted a question and answer dialogue between participants and presenters who presented concepts that could be applied in an effort to improve the quality of the existing Student Exchange program.
Faculty of Law represented by M. Hamidi Masykur, S.H., M.Kn. as PSIK Coordinator accompanied by his staff provide information related to the existing conditions in the Faculty of Law. “The Faculty of Law has already established cooperative relationships with overseas universities in the Student Exchange program, among others, with Leipzig University, Queensland Univerisy of Technology, and Walonggong University.” He further explained the current program “one of which is the Law and Culture program which is a collaboration of three universities namely Leipzig German University and State University of Jakarta. A program that tries to elaborate between existing legal issues with different cultures from both countries “.
On this occasion, Hamidi conveyed to the forum and especially to IOUB that the Law Faculty constantly increased its commitment in supporting Brawijaya University, Towards World Class University. With the existence of various Student Exchange programs that will be done by the Faculty of Law in the future and support the new concepts in the Summer School program being proclaimed IOUB.
