Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Wollongong University : Religion and the Constitution

Faculty of Law has established cooperation with several universities in the country and abroad, sich as with the University of Wollongong Autralia . One part of the collaboration between the UB Faculty of Law and the University of Wollongong in Australia is manifested in the form of Short Course in Australia in 2014 ( SCA 2014 )

Focus Group Discussion and presentation of Australian students and Indonesian students that selected on an exchange student program of a series of events in the SCA 2014. The first session  of Focus Group Discussion was delivered by Dr . Nadirsyah Hosen lecturer PhD as a representative of the University of Wollongong Australia and Muktiono SH . MPhil as representatives from Brawijaya University. Both explain the issues related to religion and the constitution in their respective countries .

Discussions continued into the second stage , where students from the University of Wollongong and Brawijaya University also presented their idea . The four students who are members of the SCA 2014 program Rhys Woods ( Australia ), Madelaine Bow ( Australia ), Sebastian Jordan Meliala ( Indonesia) , and Savira Dhanika Hardianti ( Indonesia ) , convey the current condition of the existing legal system in each country respectively , and concludes with a discussion .

SCA program in 2014 is expected to be a milestone in the early establishment of friendship between Brawijaya University students and students of the University of Wollongong in a future. Medelaine also expressed her appreciation towards all her Indonesian friends from Brawijaya University’s Faculty of Law, even in indonesian language ” Saya sangat berterimakasih atas kehadiran teman-teman dan juga keramahan orang-orang Indonesia sehingga saya merasa nyaman berada disini. ” said Medelaine .
