BLC held the 2019 Business Law Society National Seminar on “Adaptation, Innovation and Business Competition Law Policy on Digital Payment Systems in Indonesia”

The Business Law Community of the Faculty of Law Universitas Brawijaya in collaboration with the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) and Bank Indonesia (BI) held a National Seminar on the Business Law Society Summit in 2019 with the theme Adaptation, Innovation and Legal Policy for Business Competition in the Digital Payment System in Indonesia. the event held in Auditorium of Building A Faculty of Law University of Brawijaya on Friday, 1st November 2019.

The event was opened with remarks by the head of BLC and the Dean of FHUB, Dr.Machamad Ali Safa’at, SH., MH continued with and continued by beating the gong as a symbol of the opening of the event.

Presenters included Dendy R. Sutrisno, SH., MH as head of the Regional Office IV KPPU (Business Competition Supervisory Commission), Rosmarini Arundati as  the Head of the Legal Advisory Division for Payment Systems and Bank Indonesia Rupiah Currency Management, and Dr. Sukarmi, SH., MH., As an FHUB academic and Deputy Chairperson of the KPPU for the 2010-2011 period. This event was moderated by Zairul Alam, SH., MH., Who is also an FHUB academic.

The first material was delivered by Rosmarini Arundati related to Bank Indonesia Regulation on Electronic Money and Harmonization with Regulations on the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition. Furthermore Dendy R. Sutrisno, SH., MH delivered material related to the Role of the Institution for Business Competition in the Disruptive Era. Submission of material was closed by Dr. Sukarmi, SH., MH. which provides material related to digital payment systems in the perspective of business competition. The seminar ended with a question and answer session with the participants. (AZL)
