Faculty of Law Held a FGD on Curriculum Improvement

As one of the Faculty of Law in Indonesia that leads to become an international standard faculty, Faculty of Law Brawijaya University has made various efforts. In line with the specified program of the Faculty of Law in 2015 to develop a new curriculum in the undergraduate program, the Competitive Grant Program (Program Hibah Kompetisi) which has entered its second year held the Focus Group Discussion on Curriculum Improvement on Thursday (04/16/2015).

Held at the Auditorium of the faculty, this activity presented the Faculty’s Curriculum Improvement Team, as well as two external speakers who are Linda Jackie Sulistiawati, SH., M.Sc., Ph.D. from Gadjah Mada University and Dr. Aktieva Tri Tjitrawati, SH., Hum. from Airlangga University.

Alfons Zakaria, SH., LLM., Chief Executive of the undergraduate competitive grant program, when interviewed by the Faculty’s Central Information System and Public Relation explained that the event was aimed to evaluate the curriculum and at the same time proposes towards the improvements in the formulation of the faculty’s curriculum. This is to enhance the curriculum to fit the legal developments, scientific, and community needs. The results of this activity is used as a substance in the curriculum changes and improvements contained in Dean Regulation No. 1 of 2012 on Curriculum and Guidelines for Implementation of Education Degree of the Undergraduate program of Law, Faculty of Law Brawijaya University.
