The young generation is a major milestone for solving problems in this life. New innovations are indispensable for the progress of this country. Indonesian higher education needs to be improved in the equip prospective scholars to be able to live independently, be creative, utilizing the knowledge that has been learned. Student Grant Research Program (HPM) is one of a solution to spur the growth of innovative ideas, especially in the field of research. This grant competition is a tribute to the work of student innovations that can be used by the public later.
HPM big theme this year is, Contemporary Issues of Law, current issues surrounding the international legal dimension. It is expected that the presence of strategic ideas and innovations from the students to overcome current issues. Yesterday, Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at the auditorium of Building A, Faculty of Law has held a presentation to determine the five teams who will qualify for the grant that is IDR 3.500.000,00. This presentation and question-answer session starts 8 am until 3 pm. Dozens of participants who qualify administration selection, is required to compete with each other to get the grant that will only be awarded to five teams.
The harshness of HPM competition in this year makes participants were eager to practice in front of the auditorium lobby while waiting for their turn to perform. When asked about the preparation for the presentation, Anny Savitri, Faculty of Law year 2012, said about the importance of study more and more like in a minute before perform in front of judges –to have a maximum results-. The judges at this annual HPM competition was Mr Reka Dewantara, SH, MH, and Mrs. Ikaningtyas SH.LLM. Hopefully the ideas from HPM this year will be the solution to developt this nation in future.
